In the comments, <a href=\"http:\/\/irreal.org\/blog\/?p=7228#comment-3920036583\">Noonian Atall<\/a> pointed to Alphapapa&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/alphapapa\/elexandria\/blob\/master\/elexandria.el#L187\">format$ macro<\/a> that does the same sort of thing. I just saw a reddit post from alphapappa announcing that he had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/emacs\/comments\/8nxxjr\/updated_format_macro\/\">enhanced format$ to include interpolated sequences<\/a> just like f-strings. <\/p>\n<p> The format$ macro is part of alphapappa&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/alphapapa\/elexandria\/blob\/master\/elexandria.el\">elexandria<\/a> library that brings some of the features of Common Lisp&rsquo;s Alexandria library to Elisp.
